trace data towards essage Collection /latform?essage "nalysis /latform #ia Site &lement

/rere$uisite information which is needed for configuration includes Net"ct (/ address,

essage Collection /latform @ser#er?pcA (/ address and eNode' Cell idBs!

(t is also recommended to check possile firewall settings in case firewall is located etween

eNode'Bs and essage Collection /latform ser#er?pc! )irewall must e open for TC/?-/

traffic #ia port 4;1.1!

"lso ensure that cell trace license is acti#ated at eNode'Bs! ithout a #alid license it is notpossile to acti#ate cell trace!

/icture 27 Cell trace acti#ation parameter is a#ailale under %N'TS o8ect!

(n case eNode' is already in operational mode its configuration needs to e modified! *pen

S& connection and choose Commissioning ! Select Commissioning type +econfiguration and

press Ne=t at the ottom of the page! Continue pressing Ne=t utton se#eral times until

window, presented in /icture , opens! (n this S& #ersion wanted page is 2?3 ut it may

e something else! (t may change in other S& #ersions depending on technology and S

release in $uestion!

/icture 7 Cell trace acti#ation parameter is a#ailale under %N'TS o8ect!

Cell trace is acti#ated under %N'TS o8ect y changing the status of "cti#ate cell trace from

false to true ! This step can e performed as a first step of reconfiguration ut can also e

performed as a #ery last step when all needed parameters are set! *rder really doesnBt

matter since all parameters are sent towards eNode' as a last step in the end of the

commissioning!

created for each eNode' cell from where cell trace needs to e forwarded onwards!

two different T+"C& o8ects must e created for the cell!

/lease notice that ma=imum 12 T+"C& o8ects can e created per one eNode'!

• Cell identifier this #alue can e checked under %N'TS o8ect @/icture 1A! (n case

same cell trace is sent to se#eral location Cell identified is same for all of them!

• Trace collection entity (/ address here one needs to enter essage Collection

/latform ser#er?pc (/ address! (f cell trace data from one cell needs to e sent e!g! to

two separate ser#er?pc then each dedicated T+"C& o8ect must e created for

each ser#er?pc!

• Trace ++C, S1 and D2 setting "#ailale statues are7 None, "ll and Special select

"ll! (f special is selected then also message category needs to e defined!• Trace ++C, S1 and D2 msg category "#ailale states for trace message category

are7 &mpty, "ll, &specific and non&specific!

Current #ersion of this document doesnBt co#er configuration of special cell trace

measurements!

T+"C& Cell #endor specific tracing is a parameter which descries whether tracing of

instantaneous timing ad#ance @T"A #alue on cell le#el as part of #endor specific e=tension isenaled or not!

&:T+"N trace identifier is used to identify & trace session and is a uni$ue identifier to

identify a trace session gloally! This contains trace reference and trace recording session

reference!

is sent to two or more separate ser#er?pc Trace (- #alue must e uni$ue within

hen all needed parameters are set and there is no e=clamation mark #isile anywhere one

may press Ne=t utton in order to proceed commissioning! Sa#e the reconfigured

commissioning file for later usage and documentation purposes and send data to eNode'!

Sometimes eNode' doesnBt make site reset ut sometimes that will happen automatically! (f

site reset happens it will take some minutes until eNode' is again in operational state!

of the S& one is ale to find New, -elete, Copy and Compare uttons! hen one uses copy

function duplicate T+"C& o8ect will e created! *ne needs to enter uni$ue T+"C& id and

change e!g! Cell id!

(f there is something wrong in the settings one is informed aout it #ia e=clamation mark

icon! Normally this is related to missing T+"C& id and duplicate &T+"N cell id!
