1 Purpose of this document This document describes the prerequisites, installation procedure and startupof Nokia and Solutions Networks Information Browser.

Prerequisites and software requirements

2 Prerequisites and softwarerequirements

Before installing Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser on yourPC, please check its compliancy with the prerequisites and softwarerequirements.

Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser application requires195.19 MB space on the install drive.

2.1 Operating systems

Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser can be used on thefollowing operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 7

Microsoft Windows VISTA

Microsoft Windows XP

Microsoft Windows Server 2003

Microsoft Windows 2000

2.2 Supported browsers

Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser can be used with thefollowing Internet browsers:

Installation

3 Installation Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser software installer isdelivered as a download file only. First you need to download the NokiaSolutions and Networks Information Browser from Nokia Solutions andNetworks Online Services (NOLS), and then install the software on your PC.

3.1 Download Installer

1. Log into NOLS with your NOLS credentials.

2. Navigate to Product Information Center and select in the sidebarDownload browser software under Browsing solution .

3. Download Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser installersoftware zip file on your PC.

3.2 Install software

1. Extract the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browserinstaller file from the downloaded zip file.

2. Double click on the Nokia Solutions and Networks InformationBrowser Installer file.

Note: The Installer detects the destination folder in which theprevious version of the application has been installed and retains thedocument sets that exists already.

3. If a newer version of InformationBrowser is installed, the installergoes through the below steps, otherwise it throws a message Youhave already a newer version (version number) installed!

4. Click on Next to navigate through the installation program.

NOTE! If you wish to launch the Information Browser after installation, tick thecheckmark forLaunch Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser afterinstallation .

5. Click on Finish on the finish screen to complete the installation. Ifyou selected Launch Nokia Solutions and Networks InformationBrowser after installation option during the software installationprocess, the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browseropens in your default Internet Browser.

4 Start Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser

Follow these steps to start Nokia Solutions and Networks InformationBrowser:

1. Select Start Programs Nokia Solutions and NetworksInformation Browser Information Browser - Start to open theNokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser.

2. Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser will open in defaultInternet Browser.

5 Stop Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser

Follow these steps to start Nokia Solutions and Networks InformationBrowser:

3. Select Start Programs Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser Information Browser Stop to shutdown the Nokia Solutionsand Networks Information Browser.

Uninstall

6 Uninstall Follow these steps to uninstall Nokia Solutions and Networks InformationBrowser:

1. Select Start - Programs - Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser - Uninstall to open uninstall window of Nokia Solutions andNetworks Information Browser.

Note: In case the InformationBrowser application is running on theusers system, it will be stopped automatically, once uninstall processbegins.

2. Click on Next to confirm uninstall and initiate uninstall program.

3. Uninstall program shows the progress of removing installed files.
