Hello Brothers and Sisters,The Ides of March, March Madness, howling March
winds. While March may come in like a lion, remember that it leaves like a lamb. February was a good month with our Karaoke Contest (congratulations, Gordon Kemp!), Su-perbowl party and Chili Cook off (Brother Skip took 1st place), Art on 6th and the lodge’s Mardi Gras party.
Stillwater Lodge is hosting the State dart tournament from March 3rd through the 5th. As always, we will need volunteer workers as well as players to participate in this event. Come on out and join in the fun.
March 16th to 19th is the Oklahoma Southern Kansas Moose Association mid-year conference in Oklahoma City. March 25th there will be an appreciation dinner for mem-bers and qualified guests.
Also shuffleboard starts back up in March, so get ready to push those pucks! Check your calendar for other events. Please keep your dues current. That and the endowment are what keeps our children and seniors safe. Keep the Anderson and the Glasscock family in your prayers.

I want to start out and say Thank You all for coming for the Baked Potato Bar. It was a success. Poppa Joe and Slim did a wonderful job. The food was great as usual. Great job guys!!
Also a Big Thank You to Rudy and Linda Helm for doing Kara-oke. They are here almost every Saturday night running Kara-oke for our enjoyment. They always do a great job and man you should hear the singers we have. Some of our members that you would not imagine can really sing! Come on down and join in the fun with us on Saturday nights!
For those of you that did not make it to the Paint and Pallet - you really missed the talent. We have some pretty talented members in the art department as well. If you look on facebook you will see some of the Moose that were painted, plus we all had a great time. Thank you Beverly Charles for this idea it was really great and we should try this again soon.
We had a good turnout for the Valentine Dinner and silent auction. The food was great - Thank you Tina Johnson and help-ers and the members that purchased items from the silent auc-tion really got some bargains. Again Karaoke was great.
The Super Bowl Chili Cook Off was very good and some of the winners stuck around to use up their winnings at the social quarters!
I was a great month and a busy month for us and I just wanted to let you all know if you weren’t here you missed a lot of fun and socializing! It was wonderful to see all of you that were here and enjoying the fun times with us.
The Mardi Gras Party went very well and the food was great. Thank you Vicki it was a success once again!
We still need prayers for Johnny Perry, Karen Henneha’s sis-ter, Elsie Hesseltine, Connie Coldiron, Shon Brown, Renee, Con-nie Perry’s aunt Colleen McBride and of course myself. If I have forgotten anyone please let me or Linda Helm know, we really want everyone to know we care and are hoping they are feeling better.
March is Membership Retention month. Missy Pals is the chair-man, so come on down to the first meeting in March.

Franz R. “Fritz” Griswold, Supreme Governor of the Loyal Order of Moose, during his travels through the state of Oklahoma.
This Special Event is scheduled Saturday Afternoon on April 29 - 1:30 – 2:00
Brother Griswold rose to become the Moose Fraternity's Chief Presiding Officer on July 5, 2016, elected by vote of Supreme Lodge delegates to a one-year term, at the Fraternity’s 128th International Convention in St. Louis, MO. Fritz had served as Supreme Jr. Governor since June 2015, elected to that post at the 127th International Convention in Nashville, TN.
Fritz has served on the Supreme Council, the Fraternity’s corporate Board of Directors, since 2007. Prior to that, he served on the Mooseheart Board of Directors from 2004-2007 and the Moose Charities Board of Directors and its predecessor group, the Endowment Fund Board, from 1991-2004.
Fritz joined Dansville, NY Lodge 1130 in 1978; he holds Life Membership there. He held numerous chairs there and also served as Lodge Administrator for 22 years. He was elevated to Genesee Valley (NY) Moose Legion 61, where he holds a Life Membership.
Fritz is very active at the New York State Moose Association level, having served as Deputy Supreme Governor, Mooseheart/Moosehaven Marketing Representative and as a trainer for Lodge officers/committeemen.
Fritz is a member of the 350 Division of the Moose 25 Club and received the Fellowship Degree of Honor in 1983 and the Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1991.
Aside from the Moose, Fritz enjoys golf and was a former Council President of the Boy Scouts of America.
He and his wife Beth reside in Dansville, NY. They have three children and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
All Moose members and their families are invited to attend this special event and meet the Moose Fraternity’s chief presiding officer.

So if you can please give me some of your family recipes or your favorites of anything you like. Of course, as in other cookbooks, there will be different sections, so any kind of recipe will work. CC Martin for the loss of a husband and a father Randy Anderson. Also to Susie Glasscock and family for the loss of her husband Kirby Glasscock. These two men will be dearly missed by us all.Judy Ware and Jo Baker both lost their brother-in-laws and to please keep them and their families in our prayers.
