exposed to during the course. The first part is a Research organisation, which features
two pilot lines. The second part is an industrial producer of spunbonded and meltblown
nonwovens as well as synthetic fibers.

This Training Course is organised by EDANA. The associa-
tion is sponsor of INDEX, the world’s largest nonwovens
exhibition. EDANA has over 230 member companies in 36

Director of EDANA) will be the course tutor.

The course language is English. The tutor will speak
clearly and make extensive use of visual aids, videos and
samples. Active participation is encouraged from all dele-
gates.

Each course is limited to around 25 delegates.

This course will take place at EDANA, Avenue Herrmann
Debroux 46 - 1160 Brussels, 4th floor.
, Visit
To complement the theoretical information provided
during the course, EDANA has included a practical
illustration of its training course by the visit of nonwovens
industrial installations.

On the third day of the training course, a shuttle bus
will pick up the participants at the EDANA Offices at
11.00 am, the journey to the first nonwovens installation
(CENT) takes around 1 1/2 hour. After this visit which will
last about 2 hours, the bus will drive you to the second
nonwovens industrial installation : DOUNOR, a producer
of spunbonded and meltblown nonwovens as well as
synthetic fibres. A lunch pack will be distributed in the
bus. Around 17.00 hrs, the shuttle bus will take you back
to the airport at around 18.30 hrs. For your information,
a train is scheduled every 15 minutes at the airport to
the three different railway stations in Brussels (North,
Central and South).
Important: For reasons of confidentiality, DOUNOR
reserves the right to invite participants from competing
companies not to visit their installation.
