PART III – CLARIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTORS QUERRIES

1 Use of UPVC Pipe instead of Cast iron Pipe should be allowed.

4 Service Tax- The above said project is a 50 Residential quarter. As per service tax act more than one unit / Residential quarter 4% service tax on contract value will be applicable i.e. to be accept.

5 Labour cess- 1% Labour cess consider in estimate.
Estimate given to bidders only for reference purpose. Bidders have to quote including labour cess tax and all other taxes.
6 Trees- During site visit we found no. of trees on plot, the permission of Forest department is require before starting of work. The cutting charges of trees consider in estimate separately.
Maximum trees are in the open space in between Type IV & II quarters. There are no trees affected by construction, only small bushes and plants exist.
7 Foundation depth- In schedule B it is mention to remove BC Soil 1.50 mtr depth and refilled by murum. During site visit we have seen trail pit, we found BC Soil 0.30 mtr only. So according to our knowledge only 0.30 mtr depth BC Soil remove and refilled by murum.
Please referred clause no. 5.7.6.6 of page
no. 87. In any case B.C. soil is not allowed within building area including plinth protection. It should be removed and refilled by quarried murum.

We wish to know while we design with prefabricated technology, the minimum depth of foundation may differ. Also payment schedule as mentioned on page no.138 of the above Tender documents will changed.
Agency shall quote according to his technology. The document about architectural drawings, structural details and technology shall be submitted through online in separate briefcase as a additional information.
9 While we are quoting for prefabricated work, the option for quoting conventional method shall be opened for the same work.

PART – IV - ADDITIONAL GENERAL CLARIFICATION
1. Those who want to refer Estimate of this work prepared by Architect is available to bidders on website www.msphc.org (RTI Document) under the banner of “Estimate Construction Residential quarters including all infrastructural amenities for S.R.P.F. Daund Group VII, Tal. Daund, Dist. Pune.
Estimate provided to bidders is for reference only. Bidder shall prepare his own estimate on the basis of drawings, tender documents and schedule of rates (DSR) for quoting final offer. No claim will be entitled to bidder on the basis of estimate. The estimate shall not be considered as part of contract.
2. Construction of one single quarter as per specification and plan should be completed in all respects within three months period from the date of commencement of work.
3. It is electronics documents and legally binding on both the parties.
4. The offer of contractor shall be inclusive of Labour Cess at 1% of tender cost.
5. All 150 mm thick A.A.C.C. block masonry are replaced by 200 mm thick A.A.C.C. block masonry
