Lesson Summary Students will conduct online research regarding the governments of North Africa, and create a

Collaborative Listening and Viewing Guide (CLVG) 1. Make one copy of the CLVG for each student 2. Download the trip Across North Africa PowerPoint presentation
and save it to display for students. 3. Divide students into groups of 3. Each group should assign one

4. Show each slide, and give students time to examine the pictures for each one. They are to write notes about the slide as it is on the screen.
5. After the last slide, have the groups share their information, and complete their CLVGs.
