DETAILS: This project was for the design and construction of a new concrete footing. Setup of a temporary aid to navigation. Demolition of existing structure and old concrete footing, including removal off the island back to the coast via helicopter for approved disposal. Construction of new 100 tonne concrete footing using helicopters with kibbles for placing the new concrete. Erection of a new 5 storey modular fibreglass tower and electrical works associated with the new installation.
