Workforce Safety and Insurance introduced the Ergonomic Grant Program in August 2009. WSI wants to help North Dakota employers reduce the frequency of ergonomic related injuries in the workplace by increasing worker training and safety through the Ergonomic Initiative Program. The Ergonomic Grant Program is a component of the Ergonomic Initiative. WSI is offering financial assistance to assist with the purchase of ergonomic equipment for those North Dakota employers already enrolled in the Ergonomic Initiative Program. Over $6.47 million has been awarded through The ERGO grant program. Final ERGO grant applications were received by July 31, 2013.
