Friday Night Mics—Springvale Ballroom The North Olmsted Arts Commission invites you to a night of open mic performances featuring local talent. Everyone is welcome to this free event Friday, September 6th from 7:30pm-10:00pm at the brand new Springvale Pavilion located at 5871 Canterbury Road. Saturday September 7th will be the last ’Salutations in the Sun’ FREE Community Yoga class. Check in at the pavilion beginning at 9:30am. The all levels yoga class will take place from 10:00- 11:00am. This event is sponsored by the City of North Olmsted Arts Commission. Finally, the new school year is under way! All persons 60 and older are welcome to register and join us for lunch. A registration form must be completed and can be obtained at the front desk. Once this has been completed and is on file, you may sign up for any lunches that you choose. This program was made possible by a Grant from the Ohio Department of Aging through the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging. Please acquire your lunch ticket at the sign in desk and be in your seats no later than 11:15am.

Please be aware that each individual is responsible for making their own lunch reservation. Due to a limited amount of lunches that will be ordered, reservations will not be made over the phone. Sign-up is always one week in advance as the reservations are called in to the caterer on Thursdays by 10:00am.

Thursday, September 12th– Cuyahoga Valley FALL Train Trip *Cost– $68.00 / Cash or Check will be payable to Great Day Tours *Check in time approx. 7:00am/ Return approx. 7:00pm *MODERATE WALKING

This fun trip will take you on a scenic tour through Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation area. Lunch is located at nearby Hartville Kitchens. Tax, Tips and Dessert Included! After lunch you will be able to shop the bakery, candy and collectibles shops. Also the Hartville Hardware Store; so big that there is a house inside! Wednesday, October 2nd- Dennison Railroad and Famous Endings Museums *Cost- $76.00 / Cash or Check will be payable to Great Day Tours *Check in tba/ Return approx. tba *MODERATE WALKING

Recognized as a National Historic Landmark, the Dennison Railroad depot is the most significant remain-ing example in the nation of a railroad canteen still reflecting its WWII heritage. The depot building con-tains an Orientation Theater, historical railroad exhibits and the Whistle Stop Railway Shop. Continue your experience by walking through themed railroad cars attached to the depot building . . . each with their own museum displays. Outside on the grounds, explore steam locomotives, a nickel plate caboose, freight cars and other passenger cars. The Famous Endings Museum is considered the largest known collection of its kind containing over 1500 items from presidents, politicians, world leaders, celebrities, sport figures, comedians and much more. Enjoy a delicious Family-Style Luncheon at the Dutch Valley Restaurant between stops.
