Our youth will be leading our service on Grandparents Day,

September 9. Be sure to join us to support our youth and worship together. They will have a rehearsal on Saturday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. We are having a Spray Community Block Party on Saturday, September 29, from 3:00-6:00 p.m., at Spray United Methodist Church. North Spray, Spray UMC, and St. Luke's will be participating. We will have entertainment, games, a large bounce house, face painting, touch-a-truck, and much more. Hot dogs and BBQ will also be served. We need volunteers! There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those that wish to volunteer. See Thomas Knight or Heather Wakefield if you have questions. For the Block Party, church volunteers will be wearing their church's own t-shirts to help identify which church they belong to. We need to get these ordered by Sunday, September 2. See Thomas Knight to place your t-shirt order. All volunteers need to have one, but anyone from the congregation can order one, also.

On Sunday, September 16, we will have Jeff Fulton, Bible teacher from Reidsville High School as our guest speaker, representing the Rockingham Council for Bible Education. There is a possibility that the new Morehead/Holmes instructor will accompany him so that we can also meet her. Make plans to join us! The Thursday Bible Study group will resume on September 20 with Bible study, discussion, and prayer at 11:00 a.m. in the conference room. Come and join us!

Our youth are collecting funds to donate to CCM (Cooperative

Christian Ministries). On the fifth Sunday of the months that have

one, they will pass their special containers. Save your extra coins

to drop in these containers. Their next collection will be on

September 30. Come prepared to give on that day! If you are not subscribed to our email alert list, please see Thomas Knight or send him your information to [email protected]. Stay connected with us during the week! Follow us at @NorthSprayCC on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

If anyone has an update on any of our friends or church family on our prayer list, please call our secretary (336-623-2371) or e-mail her at [email protected] and let her know. Thanks for your help with keeping us current.
