And for those that are sick of getting their weekly invitation to Tiger Tiger for another friday night, you don’t have to worry as this article we’ll be talking about about some of the great nights out still avaliable around the city. Held at the Vox Warehouse just on the edge of town on the way towards Hunslet, this event is one to stick on the calender. This night has been going for over 10 years now and each event has a packed line-up with some of the best producers in underground dub/dubstep, Jungle, Drum & Bass or anything bass orientat- ed.With artists such as Kryptic minds, Mala, Kan- ka, Mungo’s Hi-Fi and many more of this calibre. Hi-Fi is one of the most busiest night- clubs in Leeds for such a wide choice of music. With a vast selection of DJ’s who all play a variety of genre’s, each night of the week is different from each other so there’s never a problem with the same music being played. Playing genre’s liike Hip-Hop, Jazz, In- die, Funk, Rock, but they also hold the norths longest running soul night. Which has now been on for 14 years. 'Lil Silva Holding both a Subdub and Exodus event every month and with Iration Steppas using their own sound system for this event, you are sure to feel your whole body shake with the quality of their set-up. As one of the most atmospheric nights in Leeds around, it is definately advise to take a visit to when you can. As well as their DJ’s, they usually have live artists at the club. The venue is brilliant for live music with the stage being so low and close to the crowd that there is always a strong connection between the artists and the crowd watching. So if you’re looking for a night out where you can have a great dance with your friends rather to some classic Hip-Hop or perhaps some Funk or Jazz, make sure to take a trip down to Hi-Fi. This venue has been open for less than a year and it has already seen the likes of Jehst, Stig of the Dump and upcoming dubstep produc- er Compa playing on it’s glorious stage, and it’s bound to see many more in the future. With the place being in Kirkstall this makes it a short taxi drive from the city centre, so it’s not the closest of places but it is most certainly worth the extra travel! To top off all the great features of this place, the owners and those who help run the venue are re- ally welcoming and helpful towards anybody, so if you do have any further questions about the venue they can surely help you. And any support that you could give them would be much appreciated with them being such a new venue any they need all the support they can get. So just make sure to keep your eyes peeled as they always have the hottest up and comers playing live! >> “you are sure to feel your whole body shake with the quality of their set-up.” The building has been freshly decorated on open- ing by some of the local Graffiti artists of Leeds, as well as the main room radiating a sense of class with its deep red leather cushioned walls and it’s mood setting lighting giving an astonishing atmosphere when the artists are playing. And not to worry, the outdoor area is sheltered from the harsh wind and rain of up north as well as several sofas and even a fusbol table!
