Who are we? Northwest Datsun Enthusiasts (NWDE—pronounced
‘nude’) is an organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment
of all Datsun/Nissan vehicles. We meet monthly and try to schedule
automotive/social activities on a monthly basis (see Calendar of Upcom-
ing events). We are members of the Western Washington Sports Car
Council (WWSCC). NWDE is not affiliated with Nissan Motor Compa-
ny, Ltd.

Treasurer’s Report – No change from last month
Old Business o Associate membership question (Steve)
Steve’s analysis showed only 4 members who were outside a 50 mile radius.
Consensus was to not create a new cate-gory of membership.
o Discussion of the benefits of being in the club
brought up the subject of parts discounts at Nis-san dealerships. We used to have formalized agreements with several dealerships but this got dropped inad-vertently sometime in the past.
New Business o Annual Party
Dave Firestone is willing to host it at his house again.
We approved a budget of up to $250 for food.
Date was tentatively set of Saturday Jan 28.
o NWDEl Letter
Ted contacted Dave Gonzalez. Dave is willing to have Ted take over publishing the NWDE Letter.
NOTE: BIG thanks to Dave for having done it over the past several years even while he has been living in Hawaii.

Spokane member, Jack Kampa, has finally
gone “modern”. Jack is know as
“rotaryjack” for his adherence to 1950s
technology but this December Jack has
entered the digital age with the following
updates.
1. Internet service to his home!
2. A cell phone!
3. Giant screen digital TV!.
4. NEW 2016 Datsun truck!
A 2016 Nissan Frontier, with heated seats,
which he considers its best feature!
