is a web service that will provide networking and organizational tools for dinner co-ops. The Zoko system is based on reciprocity. If I cook dinner for 10 people, I can go to 10 dinner parties before I have to cook again. The founders belong to a group of about 300 people who do this in New Haven, Connecticut.

We want to bring our business to Brooklyn and build a Zoko Table in Dekalb Market. Zoko members will use the container as a place to host some of their dinner parties. We hope they could cook with ingredients from the market’s farm. When we’re not hosting meals, the container will be a space for people to come learn about dinner co-ops, sign-up, and talk about good food and community. It will also provide a workspace for the founders—

“Problems began when the dinners simply got too big... We attempted using Google Groups for awhile,

but it wasn’t successful” Jared G. (Co-Founder of a former dining club,Tuesday Night Dinner in Brooklyn)
