Re: Project Description Verizon CSP HIGBY (ALT A) Monopine

This letter is being sent to you because Aspen Willows Estates, LLC as Owner, Verizon Wireless as Applicant and Lance Bleyhl with J5 Infrastructure as Consultant is proposing a land use project in El Paso County at 1480 East Higby Road, Monument, CO 80132. Verizon is proposing a new telecommunications site the southwest corner of the A-5 zoned property. The Justification for the new site is to improve Verizon cell phone coverage in the area. The new 22’ x 44’ lease area will contain a 75 foot stealth monopine, equipment platform and backup power. Verizon will be requesting a height waiver for the 75 foot monopine. The 75 foot height is need to get the antennas above the existing trees in the area to meet the coverage objective. This information is being provided to you prior to a submittal with the County. Please direct any questions on the proposal to the referenced contact below. Prior to any public hearing on this proposal a notification of the time and place of the public hearing will be sent to the adjacent property owners by the El Paso County Planning Department. At that time you will be given the El Paso County contact information, the file number and an opportunity to respond either for, against or expressing no opinion in writing or in person at the public hearing for this proposal. Please see the attached site plans of the existing and proposed facilities, structures, road and a vicinity map showing the adjacent property owners.
