In accordance with Clause 10 of the Club Constitution Members are advised that the
Management Committee has called a Special General Meeting.

Recommendation by SoPYC Management Committee that the fixed Jetty 4-5 jetties and pens be replaced with a floating system and upgrading the existing slipway to a travel-lift facility with the capacity to lift 18m vessels and approved Myclex environmental filtration systems.
2.1 Motion
“Members approve the Management Committee recommendation to replace the fixed jetty 4-5 pens with a floating system, providing 140 pens, 28 of which will be allocated as Deed Pens and upgrading the existing slipway to a travel-lift facility with the capacity to lift 18m vessels and Department of Parks and Wildlife approved Myclex environmental filtration systems at an anticipated cost of $5.8m comprising $3.0m cash and borrowings of $2.8m. Approval is subject to commitments from Members to occupy at least 50% of the available Water Peed Deed pens or 50% of anticipated income.” Moved: Bradley Abbott, Treasurer Seconded: PC Colin Cowden
This motion will be adopted upon an affirmative vote from a two thirds majority of those attending the Meeting and entitled to vote Jetty 4-5 Project
Definition: The Jetty 4-5 Project is the complete project as approved by the Department of Parks and Wildlife with plans which have been displayed in the Club foyer. Explanatory documents and plans are on display in the Club foyer and will be available at the Special General Meeting.
Only financial Ordinary, Centreboard, Honorary Life and Country members
shall be entitled to attend and vote at this meeting.

REPLACEMENT OF JETTY 4/5 AND CREATION OF EASTERN HARD STAND
