Previous events at The City Ground have welcomedback several former Forest greats. Recent occasionshave seen the return of our key central defensivepartnership of the late 70s and 80s Larry Lloyd andKenny Burns with some fantastic stories from theirtime under the legendary Brian Clough and theglory of becoming European Champions. Also onshow at The City Ground last year were JohnMcGovern and Norman Hunter, both involved inthe infamous “Damned United” era of BrianClough’s reign at Leeds United. The City Ground is an approved venue for bothCivil Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies.Your special day can be held in ourTrophy/Boardroom or European Suite. Our CivilCeremony package includes hire of ceremony suite,flower arrangement for Registrar’s table, ringcushion, pitch-side photography for the bridal partyand a glass of sparkling wine for the happy couple.

Following the very successful launch of our AsianWedding Package, we are one of Nottingham’sfavourite venues for the Asian community. ThePitch Diner can cater for a large number of peopleand has accommodated various Mandaps andthemes. To ensure an authentic and appropriatemenu is served, external professional Asian cateringcompanies may be allowed use of our kitchens,subject to guidelines. Please ask for further details.

Please note that ceremonies cannot take place onthe stadium pitch itself, however, you are morethan welcome to have some of your photographstaken pitch-side or in the stands.

Booking the Registrar for civil ceremonies must bemade through the Superintendent Registrar in WestBridgford. Please contact them on 0115 981 5307.The Registrar can only permit a civil non-religiousceremony and their fees are charged separately.
