2. When your teacher says, “Go!” you will get up and move around the room to find your match.

Singular VS. Plural Nouns

Rule #1 – Regular Nouns

Most of time, simply add the letterS

to the end of the singular noun to make it plural.

cat – cats pencil – pencilsbook – books movie – movies joke – jokes paper – papers

Do NOT add apostrophes to form plurals.

If the singular noun ends with:

When a singular noun ends with a

consonant & the letter y

Change the y to i to make it plural.

Rule #4 consonant + o

If the singular noun ends with

Add -esto make it plural
