RECOGNIZED AT VETERAN’S DAY GOLF TOURNAMENT
BENEFITING THE WOUNDED WARRIORS PROJECT
The Davie Golf Course hosted a tourna-
ment on Veteran’s Day to support the
Wounded Warriors Project. Dave Harris,
Director of Marketing and Fun at the
course, is a good friend of the NSU Sport
and Recreation Management Department.
So we sent four volunteers to help check
in the golfers, give out goody bags and
monitor a course contest. Pictured below
are Professor Olson and Albert Panariello
checking in the golfers while Hunter
O’Mahony and Patrick Lillis take a break
from handing out goody bags. Prior to the
golfers going out on the course, there was
a ceremony to honor our vets including
three wounded warriors. It was an inspira-
tional morning for a great cause. Thank
you Dave for being a partner with NSU’s
Sport and Recreation Management.
