RiverCourt would like to welcome our newest employees!
Elizabeth Edwards Resident Assistant Kevin Githinji Resident Assistant Ally Kennedy Server
Employee of the Month: Kellie Graham
Kellie has developed into one of RiverCourt’s most prized resident as-sistants. She is always kind and caring to each resident, and is a very pleasant
coworker. Kellie is meticulous with the care she provides and the residents love her. The nurses appreciate how detailed oriented she is. She triple
checks all tasks before leaving a shift. Kellie has a high standard of care that
she holds herself to each and every day, and we couldn’t ask for more!
Congratulations, Kellie!

The Memory Walk was a great day! Below, the walkers march for their cause, and in the lower
left, Laurie poses in front of the giant banners!
“The Reflectors” are still fundraising through
November to reach the goal of $300 with
“Casual for a Cause.”
Thanks to Matt, the residents were able to take one last trip to The Ice Cream
Factory before they close for the season, though it didn’t take
much convincing when he found out there was ice cream!
This Hallow-een brought visits from a
small dragon, as well as one
very furry Mike Lowell! (AKA Tucker, the
therapy dog!)
On the right, residents created these adorable scarecrow faces to hang
from their doors for seasonal decorations.

Residents are showing off their autumn spirit, with their fall leaf/pumpkin pins! Everyone had fun designing their own pins and are all still wearing them proudly, as the leaves fall from the trees.

Bill Brittles returns with his banjo and friend on piano to perform all the old favorites. They al-ways create a fun atmosphere filled with singing and dancing. Not too many are still playing his
style of jazz banjo, but we’ll gladly listen to these minstrels any day!

After a game of bocce with the Blanchard Middle School
volunteers, the residents were pleasantly surprised by a short
concert by one of the extremely talented student
council members!
This month’s trip to Indian Hill for the “Bach’s Lunch” really had us tapping our feet to Irish jigs and
reels. These gentlemen played gui-tars, a mandolin, and an Irish bou-zouki, which is a descendent of the Greek bouzouki and looks much
like a large mandolin.

The RiverCourt Singers’ Fall 2011 Concert was a hit! With a packed audience filled with many familiar faces, everyone sang their hearts out in a warm and
friendly atmosphere. The Singers would especially like to thank Dick Sawyer, who not only entertains us once a month with his piano music, but was our out-standing accompaniment for this concert. Though this season is over for The
Singers, we always welcome new members. If you enjoy singing with others and performing, please consider joining The RiverCourt Singers for our next season!
