The Jeff Cook Clinic was a huge success! The weather was perfect for a great clinic on October 15 th and 16 h . Three groups of 6 rode both Saturday and Sunday. The clinic began with riders who jump cross rails and ended with those who jump up to 4 ft. There was a very big emphasis on flat work and dressage. The two-hour riding session incorporated both jumping and dressage instruction. Jeff Cook did an excellent job at instructing and was given rave reviews by the riders who attended. A special thanks to those that helped make the clinic a success. (Michelle, Katie Anich, Katie Feldkamp and Annie. The last show of the year! Don’t miss it. The signup is in the boarder’s tack room. If you have any questions ask your trainer and they can fill you in on the details. This show will only have hunters and not jumpers. Stall reservations, trailer accommodations and trainer schedules are decided after the deposit are received, so please make your plans early.

Howling Halloween Fun!

2011 Charity Shows

We did it! We ended with a successful year of shows. It didn’t look promising after our first show, but we pulled it out in the end. I’m not sure if it was the weather, timing or economy. We couldn’t provide in house shows for our customers or area horseman with out the help of our dedicated staff, volunteers and great sponsors. We are very proud to announce that we were able to donate $2000 to our benefiting charity Eureka Mounted Fire and Rescue. Thanks again to everyone who supported the shows and yes…. BOUGHT RAFFLE TICKETS!

Wish Russell Happy Birthday! It’s November 13th!

Five years ago, we upgraded all stalls with automatic waterers and wow how wonderful that was! Now after the rough weather trends of the last two years, we are once again going to implement a barn upgrade.

In February we configured the barn with 3 propane heaters. After researching other barns that have heaters we believe these will be the best, safest and most efficient. Anything will be more efficient than the temporary heaters we were forced to use last year. This should be a great addition for these extreme St. Louis winter days and nights. Not only will it protect our water pipes, but also it will make the barn a more comfortable place to ride and enjoy your horse all year long! This being the first year for the heater use, we have adopted the other stables’ policy for pricing. A $25 per month charge for heating may be added as needed during the winter months if severe weather persists.

Angela tied the knot in August!

She is now MRS. TJ Gascho.

As you can see from the lovely picture, the new hubby is as beautiful as the Krampe family. Pictured from the left. Randy, FloAnne, TJ,

Angela, Jessica and Melissa. We all will miss her and Rusty as they now reside in Indiana.
