Scenes from TournamentThis tournament saw a series of special and unique compliments for our dojo. Everyone associated with our venue made a point of showing their appreciation for our group. USA Karate Academy runs a tournament filled with respectful people, professionalism, kindness, and good attitudes. We were thanked for using their facility, which is atypical for most sporting events. Even the concessions personnel and the retail salesman referenced all the good vibes and kind people who participated in Saturday’s event.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED!The tournament would not have been the enormous success is was without the help of our volunteers. We’d like to recognize all the USA Karate Academy members who helped with awards, officiating, timing and scorekeeping, set-up, and event photography. In no particular order, we thank Mel Abiador, Steve Abiador, Bria Bloom, Irwin Batara, Jon Hie, Abby Knapp, Nicola Gerbino, Pete Maskiell, Sensei Ryan, Sara Mar, Mickey Gourley, Red Godfrey, Jaryd Remillard, Greta Hardin, Sheryl Yost, Elise Reich, Cathy Roark, Alec Peterson, David Roark, Rob Harrill, Chris Hamm, Tina Lenhart, Heather Marshall, Gary Bloom, Edwin Godfrey, Troy Baker, John Roark, Yasuyo Dunnett, Ruby L., Ava A., Calen D., Jack M., Euan D., Maya B., Emma B., Eric D., Kyle D., Lyle H., Michael H., Dane P., Tavin P., Earl G., Marcio R., Stan G., Tom L., Mika N., and Raphael B. **If we’ve missed your name, many apologies!
