The MC&MCA board selected Heather Grazzini-Sims to represent the MC&MCA as a trustee on the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program Coalition Board. She will serve as one of the management reps on this organization that was established in 1996 through collective bargaining to provide and operate an alternative workers’ compensation system as an option to the state-run system. Wilson-McShane Corporation works for the labor-management coalition to administer the program.

Delinquency Corner

Each month the Fund Counsel for the MN & ND Bricklayer and Cement Masons reports to a Delinquency Committee about a number of matters, including an update on delinquent signatory employers to the Fringe Benefit Funds. In an effort to rid our marketplace of these employers and to make sure that our covered employees receive their Fringe Funds, a monthly list of delinquent contractors will be available upon request from Fund Counsel, Peter M. Rosene at Leonard O’Brien Spencer & Gale, 612-332-1030 or at
