Argentina and Chile:

Two fascinating wine countries, which offer much more than highly concentrated wines for everyday. Their variability is based on the altitude or on the proximity to an Ocean. To explore this diversity with all senses will change your view on those two countries. The hospitality of the people and the culinary delights underline the overall experience.

Grape growing in Argentina is on its limit: an arid climate, high average temperature and intense sunlight influences the style

of the wines. But not only: the cooling influence of altitude comes into play on the foothills of the Andes. The results are freshness and elegancy. To explore this spectacular landscape

and to link it with the people and a truly South American lifestyle makes your journey unforgettable. Beside the wine, you will visit two vibrant cities: Buenos Aires and Mendoza.

A breathtaking tour over a pass within the Andes - we will reach 4000 meters altitude - brings us to the Pacific side of the continent. In Chile, the proximity to the cooling coast is the key influential element on the wine style. The water of the Pacific reaches only 12°C, even at summer‘s peak!

You can expect crunchy Sauvignon blancs, delicate Chardonnays, complex Pinot Noir and well structured Cabernet and Carmenère. A special focus will be on

commented tastings of marginal regions, where a lot of development is going on right now: Limari and Elqui in the north, Maule and Bio-Bio in the south.

A culinary highlight is the fresh Casablanca Valley and the visit in Valparaiso: its nick-name is San Francisco of the south, for good reasons. Elevators support your walks on the hillside, the houses have bright colors and on almost every corner of the old town you can find live music.

And finally Santiago the Chile: a capital city with southern atmosphere. Magnificent buildings in the historic part and again a big portion of South American live-style.
