November is a great month to get together with family and friends and celebrate how thankful we are for one another. We
look forward to this month for this reason as we have our annual Thanksgiving Feast. It’s a great time for us to spend with
not just the children, but also with their families. Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 22nd
, to attend. We
will eat at 11:30am.
We are so thankful for all our KELC families, Jeni Hoover

Kendal Intergenerational News:
The children just love seeing our grandfriends and our grandfriends
love the children! We recently heard a story of how much our
grandfriend Jean loves spending time with our children. She comes
to every activity and event we hold. She even enjoys watching out
her bedroom window, on the ambulance circle, as the children arrive.
She can say which child runs into the building and who arrives when.
Jean was sad when she had to switch rooms due to the coming
renovations and lose her great view. We don’t like it when our
friends are sad, so we will visit her in her new room as often as
possible. If you would like to make a picture or card for any of
our grandfriends to brighten up their day, we would be happy to
deliver them.

From the Classroom:
October was such a great month! We are definitely sad to see it go but excited for new adventures in November. Last month
the children loved going on our first ELI trip of the year to the Natural History Museum. They got to learn all about food!
They also got to explore the new addition. It was really cool. The children really loved seeing all the different animals. We
loved seeing all the children dressed up for our Halloween/fall party and parade! A special thank you to the KELC Parent
Group for organizing the event! The children all looked great and really loved all the fun activities. November is looking to be
very busy as well! We will be preparing for our annual Thanksgiving Feast. We hope that many will be able to join us for this
special day! Please watch your emails for food sign-up information!
