November 2019 Newsletter COSTUM ES...AGAIN! MOVIE NIGHT! KEY DATES Please don't forget to pay all costume fees by November 9th by cash or check . It is important that we have all of the costumes ordered early so they arrive by April for our group pictures. We will measure all of the students this month, and we always leave room for growth. We hope to have all students measured during the first 3 weeks of November. As they become available, pictures will be uploaded onto your parent portal along with specific needs for each costume (tights and shoes). If costume fees are not paid or if tuition is past due beyond one month at the time of order, the student's costumes will not be ordered. Tuition must also be up to date to receive costumes in the spring. Please note, according to our policies, MCDF reserves the right to hold costumes until the full financial obligation for the season is met. Costume Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Students who have costumes ordered are expected to complete the season through May 2020. MCDF's first Pajama Jam Movie Night of the season will take place on Saturday Nov. 9th from 6:00 - 9:30 PM. Zandria?s choreography has been showcased at ACDA, The National High School Dance Festival, The Fox Theatre, and in Nogales, Mexico. After earning her Master of Fine Arts with emphasis in Choreography and Performance, May 2015 from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, Zandria relocated to the Metro Detroit Area where she continues her work as an artist and dance educator. Ms. Zan is an amazingly talented teacher. She is also the lead coordinator for our Competition Companies. This year she founded her own Professional Dance Company Int er t w ine Movem ent Collect ive. This is very exciting for the city of Detroit! Their debut performance, Emergence, will take place on Friday November 22nd at 7:30PM. Please follow her company on Social Media and plan to come out to support her! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from Ms. Zandria.

WOW...WOW...WOW...Is all we can say about the overwhelming job our parents and students did in this year 's Little Caeser 's Pizza Kit Fundraiser! Many students not only covered their costume fees, but tuition for the next couple of months as well! Raising a whopping $14,000 not only helped families raise money for costumes, but will also help our program grow. We sincerely appreciate everyone who participated.

Congratulations to this year 's Top Seller who not only was able to pay off all of her costumes but have proceeds left over for tuition. Great Job Preia and mom!
