    Christmas Caroling

For the past three years St. Mary Confirmation Candidates, myself and Mrs. Wetzel have been going to the KingHaven Assisted Living and singing Christmas Carols, serving hot chocolate, cookies and handing out candy canesas someone recites the candy cane prayer. This has been such a wonderful experience for our young people, not to mention how happy we make theresidence, some of them don't even receive visitors. What a wonderful way to share our Christmas joy with others. This year we are assigned Thursday, December 19, 7pm-8pm. If you could spare an hour to put smiles in the heartsof others this year please respond so I can let them know since we also will be having cookies and hot chocolate.Lets keep the tradition alive. This year our 7 th grade pre-sacraments candidates are invited to join us, parents are

    welcome too!

ST MARY SCHOOL THANKSGIVING COAT AND MORE DRIVE

The corporal works of mercy are acts of charity designed to assist the physical welfare or well-beingof another person. Creating different age-appropriate activities to children introduces them to thecorporal works of mercy and the idea of assisting other people. So with that said and winter quicklyapproaching people will be in need of outerwear to keep warm, so we have decided to collect gentlyused coats, hats, scarves, and gloves to be donated to Community Lutheran Church, in Flat Rock and

New Beginnings Mercy House in Monroe. These can be adult or kids coats. Children items for ages0-5 are most needed in Monroe. If you would like to help out with this please bring your gently useditem(s) in beginning, Monday, November 11 through November 22 nd.

    THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN

Join us to celebrate all Saints day during our next school Mass, November 7 th as our 5 th grade classwill process in with Father dressed as their favorite Saint. Some residence from the King HavenAssisted Living will also be joining us for Mass on this day.
