What an amazing year 2016 has been; we can’t believe it is almost over! We have had such a
great year from Officer Training and Public Speaking to Camps and most recently the Fair.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year so successful. We couldn’t have done it
without you!
We had many of our youth participate in regional, state and national 4-H events. Again this
year, we had 3 fantastic camps with great teen leaders and an amazing adult staff. September
brought the fair and with the fair came the return of the horse show to the fairgrounds. We
were so excited to have this event back at the grounds! Thank you to Ms. Kim and Ms. Brigette
for their hard work in making the horse show a success!
National 4-H Week just ended and we had another very successful Clover Campaign at Tractor
Supply! Thank you to the 4-H clubs that went out and promoted 4-H! Tractor Supply is always
such a wonderful supporter of the program and helped us show off what 4-H does for youth. As
we wrap up the year we have several youth going to contests, such as the Dog Bowl, and
representing Charles County well!
Don’t forget Record Books are due by December 16th!
Thank you everyone for always “Making the Best Better” during 2016! We are thankful for so
many wonderful youth and adult volunteers!
The Charles County Staff are looking forward to another great 4-H year in 2017!
