Inter Club Competition
Houston Photochrome Club is a member of the Gulf States Camera Club Council. There are many of these councils across the United States. We enter monthly competitions in nature, color and monochrome, as an individual club in both GSCCC and PSA, but then each of the Councils’ pick the top images for the year, from each division and enter them into the PSA Inter-Council Competition. I am proud to say that Janet Chung’s “Swan Mom & Baby” was picked by GSCCC for the Nature competition and won 3rd place over-all. Janet’s image “Mutton Bustin” was picked for the Color Division competition and received an Honor-able Mention. Julie Cheng’s “Lovely Jelly Fish” was picked for the Mono competition and received an Honorable Men-tion. Way to go, Ladies. This is a really big honor, for Janet, Julie, GSCCC and Houston Photochrome Club.

Christmas Party or NO?
Last year we planned a party outside of the meeting night and the interest was not there so it was cancelled. Now it’s time to plan for this year and the question is shall we have a party or not? The options are: 1)a party away from the Tracy gee at someone’s house or 2) a small celebra-tion at the Tracy Gee on the competition night. Please email me your opinion so that we can plan ahead. [email protected]. Thank you for your help. Carmen
