ASSURANCE, INDEMNITY & ACCREDITATIONS

We conventionally operate within our own bespoke integrated Company Management System (CMS) covering all aspects of safety, quality and environmental assurance.

We are a Sentinel ‘Sponsor’ andalso a member of CIRAS (confidential incident reporting& analysis system).

Our Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) for the last three years has been Zero, which is a testament to the effectiveness of our Management System.

All of our technical staff are certified in railway safety competencies including:

Personal Track Safety (PTS)

Individual Working Alone (IWA)

Controller of Site Safety (COSS)

RECENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Detailed Permanent Way design for stabling and fuelling enhancements at various depots along the East Coast;

Ferme Park, Doncaster Carr, Neville Hill, Heaton, Craigentinny, Aberdeen and Inverness depots. Predominantly direct track fastening system designs and major remodelling at Craigentinny. Substantial cost saving realised at Craigentinny by a 75% optimising the S&C layouts affected.

Detailed Permanent Way and 3rd Rail system designs for modifying the depot to accommodate 5xCar train sets;

Extension of the southern bay platform, new northern head-shunt and general siding extensions. 3rd Rail negative bonding design, integrated with new OLE test facility.

Detailed Permanent Way design for 2x new elevated platforms atManchester Piccadilly station and complete remodelling design of Manchester Oxford Road station;

Highly complex construction considerations due to locations. In-depth structure and platform gauging analysis. Working within a BIM (Level 2) environment. Substantial cost saving of Circa. £1.8m realised by ‘designing out’ Deansgate station from the scope.

Northern Hub Project

Detailed Permanent Way design for complete renewal of a road / rail munitions transfer facility;

Guarded switch rail system design for S&C layouts fully embedded in concrete. S&C moveable extents and hand-lever drainage system design. Concrete structural slab for track support and in-fill slab / concrete edge protection design.

Detailed Permanent Way and 3rd Rail system designs for renewal to accommodate 12xCar train sets; New elevated driver walkways implemented throughout the sidings. Substantial cost saving realised by relocating the sidings to avoid previously unidentified HV power cables.

Detailed Permanent Way and 3rd Rail system designs for extension of the platforms at various stations to accommodate 10xCar train sets;

Purley, Clapham, Imperial Wharf, West Brompton, Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction stations.

Stoke to Syston Route Clearance

Detailed Permanent Way design and gauging analysis at various stations to accommodate W10 / W12 freight trains along the route;

Longton, Blythe Bridge, Uttoxeter, Sileby, Barrow-upon-Soar and Loughborough stations.
