Your contribution to a hamper for our Christmas Raffle would be greatly appreciated. All families are asked to donate a non-perishable item to go towards this. Please send

items into school with your child no later than Friday November 25th so the hamper can be made up. Raffle ticket books will be sent home next week.

All funds raised will go towards improving the garden and chicken coop area. Your support is this fund-raising initiative is greatly appreciated.

We are seeking expressions of interest from any parent who is interested in taking on the Canteen Co-ordinator/Supervisor role for 2012. Working in and running the canteen is a fun and rewarding role and the school is very flexible in regards to what day canteen runs. The canteen is our only continual cash flow which the P & C uses to fund equipment and improvements for our children's education. Any interested persons please call Eloise.

BEXHILL CHOIR PERFORMANCE

On the 4th of October Bexhill’s choir were invited to Suffolk Park RSL Nursing Home in Byron Bay to sing for the elderly. We sang around seven songs and they begged us to come back and do an encore so we did two more songs. Some of the people we performed for became a bit emotional but when we left they had a huge smile on their faces. We had a great time and the choir would like to say a very big thank you to Mrs. Brierley for organising the trip. By Megan Marchant

TEACHER APPRECIATION Many thanks to

Judith Light and the Bahai Scripture group for their kind words of

appreciation for the staff at Bexhill School and for the delicious

cake which we enjoyed for morning tea.
