NO DISTURBANCES OR DISTRACTIONS: No person should move, talk or stand close to or stand directly behind the hole or ball while a player is making a stroke.2. ON THE PUTTING GREEN: Players should not stand or cast a shadow on another player’s line of putt. Players should remain on or close to the putting green until all players have putted out.3. SAFETY: Wait until the group ahead is out of range before playing.4. PUTTING SURFACE: Carefully repair lob and spike marks on putting greens before leaving. Try to minimise spike marks on greens by not dragging feet.5. DIVOTS: Replace divots where practicable or “cut in” surround and fill with sand from bucket.6. SAND BUCKETS: To be carried and used by all golfers.7. BUNKERS: Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up all holes made by him therein and place the rake away from the edges of the bunker.8. SLOW PLAY PLEASE READ CAREFULLYThe most disruptive force to a pleasant and enjoyable round of golf is to have slow players in the field in front of you.YOUR POSITION IN THE FIELD IS IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE GROUP IN FRONT.KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT AT ALL TIMES.Therefore, please adopt as normal course of play the following hints to assist in eliminating slow play.1. Forget the “honour” system on the tee and simply let the players who cannot reach the players in front hit off first.2. Be ready to play when it is your turn.3. Don’t take an unnecessarily long time to make a stroke.4. Call-on immediately it is known a ball will not be quickly found.5. Promptly leave the green when play has been completed, mark your card on the following tee.6. Those teeing off first on the following hole do so before marking their card.7. Allow faster players to play through.8. Where possible, do some preparation for a shot while waiting your turn.9. After the 11th Hole, be ready to continue play as soon as the 12th Green is clear. If the group in front has cleared the 12th tee get take away refreshments from the clubhouse.10. Keep up with the group in front at all times.PLEASE AVOID SLOW PLAY AT ALL TIMES..
