•Registering additional pesticides for bed bugs for PCO use •Increased government funding for bed bug research •Limiting treatments in multi-family housing to professional •Requiring efficacy data for 25(b) pesticides labeled for bed bugs •Including bed bugs in the legal definition of "vermin" or “pest” •Formation of a state/municipal bed bug task force/working group/advisory committees •Government subsidies for treatments in affordable housing •More rigorous oversight of claims related to products/services •Stronger sanitation requirements for used mattresses and furniture •Statewide regulation of bed bug issues as opposed to local rules
