Definition1. a service that is performed for the benefit of the
public or its institutions
2. an unpaid service for the benefit of the public that is performed by lawbreakers as part (or all) of their sentence

NSCS Books Drive– Month-long– donate books to Baltimore City
Public schools 2006 Baltimore Heart Walk
– October 28th– Help the American Heart
Association in its fight against heart disease and stroke
UMBC Fast-a-Thon– October 18; donate lunch
money &/or canned foods

Collected 114 cans, donated to Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless
