Datia is the District headquarter of the Datia District. The town is 69 Km from Gwalior, 325 Km south of new Delhi and 320 Km north of Bhopal.It is an ancient town, mentioned in the mahabharata as Daityavakra. The town is a market centre for food grains and cotton products. Handloom weaving is an important industry. Datia is a famed for the seven-storied palace built by Raja Beer Singh Deo in 1614. A pilgrimage spot for devotees, Datia has the sidhapeeth of shri peetambhara Devi, Buglamukhi Devi Temple and Gopeshwar temple. About 15 Km from Datia is the Sonagiri, a scared Jain hill. Datia is 34 km from jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 52 Km from Orchha.The nearest airport is a at Gwalior. Datia railway station is on the Delhi-Chennai main line. Peetambra peeth is a famous shaktipitha located at the entrance of Datia in Madhya Pradesh. This pilgrimage spot features Buglamukhi Devi Temple. and Dhumavati Mai Temple established by shri Golokwasi Swamiji Maharaj. Vankhandeshwar temple is a Mahabharat period temple of Lord Shiva which is situated at this place. Pitambra peeth is about 1 km from Datia Bus Station and 3 KM from Datia Railway Station.

Value Education, as it is generally used, refers to a wide gamut of learning and activities from training in physical health, mental hygiene, etiquettes and manners, appropriate social behaviors, civic right and duties to aesthetic and even religious training.
Value Education, according to one more view, is essentially a matter of educating the feelings and emotions. It is the "Training of the heart" and consists in developing the right feelings and emotions. It dose not involve any cognitive abilities that can be trained. Like poetry it is caught rather than taught. It is essentially a matter of creating the right atmosphere, imitation and learning by example communion with nature or modeling one self after and ideal. Such a view is countered by saying that mere imitation of a 'good' person and modeling oneself after and ideal does not confer any morality on an individual. Morality is not a thing that simply 'readouts' from one person to another. Moral development includes both thinking morally and behaving morally. Moral thinking is a distinct type of thinking characterizes by the exercise of rational choice. A moral person is not only a person who does the 'right' thing but also one who does the ;'right' thing for the 'right' person. A world of rapid change there is a need for a new vision and paradigm of higher education because change and innovations arguments progress. The seminar is a forum for the conversion and dissemination of original and innovative ideas for 'THE ROLE OF VALUE EDUCATION IN CONTEXT OF EDUCATION NEEDS' of teachers and students.
