Fostering Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development.
Overview of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) was created in 1988 as a non-profit organization. Widely known as the “Premier Hispanic Organization,”
NSHMBA serves 38 Chapters and 17,000 members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It exists to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management educa-
tion and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S. so they can provide their unique per-
spective, cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation’s diverse workforce. Currently, NSHMBA operates under two different but
interconnected legal entities: NSHMBA Inc. (501 C6) and NSHMBA Foundation (503 C3).
Vision Be the premier organization for Hispanic business professionals.
Mission Statement Increase the number of Hispanics graduating from MBA schools through scholarships, awareness programs and mentorship Enhance career management opportunities for Hispanic MBAs from school to leadership positions, through job placement and world class professional de-velopment To be the partner of choice for organizations seeking to hire and develop Hispanic talent Recruit and retain as life-long members a majority of Hispanic MBAs
Value Statement Our Chapter Officers, members, and employees are critical to our long-term success. We know that, driven by the imagination and enthusiasm of each group, NSHMBA’s potential is unlimited. We treat all with respect and trust, and lead through competence, creativity and teamwork.
NSHMBA Orlando Chapter The Orlando chapter has 988 members, with our total network of friends and family connecting approximately 5,000 business professionals.
The Orlando Chapter is comprised of seasoned professionals with Graduate and Undergraduate degrees, Graduate students, and professionals without
MBA’s, who are looking for professional development, networking, and their next career opportunity. NSHMBA Orlando has strong relationships with a
number of companies such as Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resorts, Wyndham Vacation Ownership, among others. In addition, we work closely
with a number of universities in our area (and satellite campuses) including University of Central Florida (UCF), Stetson, Valencia State College, Seminole
State College, as well as Rollins College, and Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Becoming a member or a partner of NSHMBA opens doors and provides first class opportunities both at the local chapter and national level.
Our chapter is actively developing and maintaining relationships with local corporations, universities, and other professional organizations.

How You Can Help the Orlando Chapter Meet its Mission?
Partnerships
As a Non-Profit organization, our chapter is completely funded by the generosity of our partners. We have developed 3 partnership packages, Corporate
Memberships, Event Partnerships, and Non-financial partnerships (In-kind donations), that provide different levels of value to our partners and help
the chapter operate. We also have additional partnership opportunities with special events to help us fund scholarships. All proceeds from partners help
us to fund scholarships for NSHMBA members. Please see the enclosed information for a summary of partnership levels and benefits.
