Suchita Bhoyar Volunteer Representatives :- Ankush Bhalerao, Pooja Patil. Our Objective:- we aspire to change the lives of many/made reality by our small contributions of society. NSS Healthy Youth and Healthy India CAMP A dream that we create for the lifetime. Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana NSS Unit conducted the residential camp at Bhadola Village for 7 days from 5 th Jan 2018 to 11 th Jan 2018. We adopted this backward village with a mission to bring a change in the adverse social and economic conditions. we organizes various programmes in the course of 7 days. During this camp, we conducted the following activities for the empowerment of the villagers: Campsite and Village Visit:- We conducted a detailed survey of the village and interacted with the villagers so as to plan out activities for them. Balwadi:- Balwadi is the heart of the village. The Balwadi children are the youth of tomorrow. They are the torch bearers. We had informative sessions such as Origami, Value Education, Basic hygiene, Puppet show, etc and entertainment in the form of cartoon screening, dancing, singing, etc. We also had the “Each one teach one” session wherein each volunteer adopted a child for that period & did his/her bit to teach them something that would be of use to them. Mid-day Meal:- The volunteers had a great time cooking missal pav as treat to the balwadi kids. It was a learning experience for the volunteers and brought great joy amongst the kids too. Drama for villagers:-We conducted a social awareness drama in Marathi, highlighting the importance of education of a girl child, illiteracy, addiction of the villagers which was applauded by the villagers. The response of the villagers was over whelming. Medical camp:-We conducted a day long medical camp for blood group detection, blood sugar Check-up and Body Mass index(BMI). Due to extensive propagation in the village we got an overwhelming response wherein 100 villagers attended the medical camp. Medicine awareness campaign:- We conducted a day of medicine awareness campaign in the village by distributing hand bills to villagers by our volunteers. our volunteers interact with the villagers and told the importance of proper utilization of medicine, to avoid medication errors, adverse effect & drug interaction. Save Girl Child:-As suggested by the University of S.G.B.A.U. Amravati NSS cell, to organize various programs on the theme “Save Girl Child”. Our NSS college unit has organized various programs to spread awareness. Following activities were conducted: NSS volunteers sent various quotations on the theme “Save Girl Child” though. NSS volunteers had put up t he posters on the theme “Save Girl Child” in the rally to spread awareness. Volunteers of NSS created awareness in villagers through various street drama and rallies on topic like Education, Rain water harvesting, Drainage water management, health awareness & medicine awareness etc.

NSS Healthy Youth and Healthy India CAMP

A dream that we create for the lifetime.

Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana NSS Unit conducted the residential camp at Bhadola

Village for 7 days from 5th

Jan 2018 to 11th

Jan 2018.

We adopted this backward village with a mission to bring a change in the adverse social and economic

conditions. we organizes various programmes in the course of 7 days.

During this camp, we conducted the following activities for the empowerment of the villagers:

Objective of NSS

To enable the students to understand the community in which they work.
