    1. Is nuclear power renewable? [yes/no] .

    2. Nuclear power stations use___________ as fuel. They need very little, compared to a"fossil" power station because there is much more ______________ in nuclear fuel.

    3. The __________ reaction inside the ___________ creates heat, which turns ________ into steam to drive __________, which drive generators to makeelectricity.

    4. The fuel ______ are safe to handle before they go into the reactor, it's only whenthey come out that you need to handle them with ___________ arms and heavy

    ________.

    5. __________ power stations do not create atmospheric pollution, because they do not ______anything. However, the small amount of _________ that they do produce isvery __________.

Nuclear energy is dangerous for theenvironment because of theradiation in the waste

Nuclear Energy is great because itdoesnt produce CO 2 and causeglobal warming.

I dont want a nuclear power stationnear where I live, it might explodelike Chernobyl.

Nuclear power stations are tooexpensive to build. We should spendthat money on researching ways toimprove renewable energy resources

Renewable energy sources areunreliable. What if the sun doesntshine or the wind doesnt blow?

Nuclear power is better because itis reliable.

Nuclear power stations are safernow because of better technology.

I think nuclear power stations are apotential targets for terrorists andso are unsafe.

There is no risk to the environmentbecause the waste is stored safelyin sealed containers.

Nuclear power is a good because itis a long term solution. It wont runout soon.

Nuclear power stations areexpensive to build but after thatthey produce really cheapelectricity.

The waste from nuclear energy canbe turned into bombs.

Getting rid of civil reactors wouldnot remove the risk of a nuclear war

    breaking out.
