Health and Wellbeing

We are continuing to learn all about kindness. What is an act of kindness?Write down your own definition of what kindness is and an example of when you, or someone you know has shown an act of kindness. Share ideas with family in a circle time.

Kindness TreeCreate a kindness tree with your family. Create paper hearts and on each heart, write a different kind deed. Decorate the hearts and tape the back of each heart onto a pipe cleaner or straw. Place the “heart flowers” into any vase or on a tree branch. Every morning, invite a member of your family to pull a heart shape from the display. Your family must do the kind deed for people sometime that day.Breathing ExercisesThis week you might want to try somebreathing activities from the relaxation cards

uploaded on Teams. Use them if you feelangry or sad. Think about some of the emotions

you might be feeling during this time.

Remember to check in for Check-in Tuesdays on Teams @9 (P2b) or 11(P2a).

Why does this happen and how

much salt do we need to melt ice.

Try this experiment to find out!! Why

salt melts ice?
