    Story Overview

Jenny was an unhappy nurse. Working in a tall tower

block hospital, looking at concrete walls day in and day

out. Mrs Handle smelt like cabbages and Mr Peerce was

always complained about his daughter. Nothing pleased

her more than looking out the waiting room window at

    the sea on the horizon.

After years of consideration the old nurse decided to put

in for a transfer to work on a cruise ship. A year or two

later Jenny had got there. She left her frosty and sky-

high hospital for a new chapter for her nursing career at

sea.On the boat she studied her new steel room, then went

upstairs to watch the land disappear. Later that evening

Jenny responded to her first medical call out. When she

entered the bar she found a drunk holiday maker, being

sick into a bowl. 'Hmm great' thought Jenny. An hour or

so later, another call. This time a tourist had banged

their head in a drunk fight.

The next day she is left to deal with a drunken tour-

ist who had become stuck in a large bottle. After

dealing with the incidents the nurse went outside to

think over the previous events. The wind was icy

and the sea completely black. Her hat blew off and

into the sea. Over the next month and a half she

treated crazy drunken tourists with too much money,

they didn't respect her. She began to miss her old

responsible patients. From drunken dares to swal-

lowing fish whole, to gambling organs to alcohol poi-

soning she became more and more fed up.When the Cruise ship returned back to the harbour

she requested to change back to land. Her manager

    agreed but told her:

'the grass isn't always greener on the other

    side'

    Script

The next day Jenny was sat in her office eating her

lunch. It had been a distressing night before and

she hadnt had much sleep. All of a sudden, her

pager went off. Someone needed help in the bar!

She burst out of her office and rushed up many sets

    of stairs into the bar.

Jenny burst through the door, only to find one of the

tourists had climbed into a bottle. A little disappoint-

ed she asks if the tourist is alright. His drunken face

    tells her its fine.

Scene: Jenny deals with a tourist trapped in a bottle

Jenny has been working on the boat for a for week or so, she

is beginning to grow tired of the tourists. The script is to be

    narrated over the animation.

A short while after he falls over and begins rolling

around. Broken hearted Jenny leans on the bar as

she watches him messing around. She remembers

her old life back in the hospital and how the patients

    had much more respect.

Suddenly - Wow! The tourist was squeezing himself

out of the bottle. After a pop the drunken oaf splat-

tered around, trying to gain his balance. He was

dripping wet and stank of beer.

Janny helped him up out the bar. All the way back

down the stairs and into her office. By this time the

novelty had worn off, the drunk felt embarrassed. He

    sat on the bed.

Jenny went over to find her paperwork until - BAM!

The drunk had fallen off the bed. Oh great thought

    Jenny. Fantastic.

    Im hungry said the drunk.

partying for a bit too long, works as a part time cleaner. Bottom right is

Sally. Young and on holiday with her friends, she often over exagger-

ates and isnt afraid to tell people what she thinks.
