Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2019June 10-14, 8:45-11:30am3 years old - entering 6th gradeHear ye, hear ye, all who have pondered the age old question of what to do with lads and lasses who are FINALLY no longer bound by the school schedule! Our Lord King requests the honor of your presence for Vacation Bible School 2019 at the Village Church of Gurnee!
We will be enjoying His Majesty’s Knights of the Lord’s Table in their annual tournament! Jousting, feasting, acts of bravery and chivalry will abound! Lads and lasses will become knights of the Lord’s Table as they learn lessons of love, honor, service, trust, and prayer.

Vacation Bible School SERVECome be a part of The Knights of the Lord’s Table volunteer team this summer. We need small group leaders, craft helpers, kitchen helpers, games helpers, or registration/greeters! For more info, contact Martha ([email protected] or x186). If you aren’t able to serve the week of VBS, there are several work nights in April and May where you can put your gifts to work. Dinner or breakfast is provided. Come cut, paste, copy, paint, etc. with others, in preparation for VBS 2019. Free childcare is available.
Aloha! Tuesday, May 7, 6pmFor all current 5th graders, their parents, teachers/shepherds, and Salt & Light studentsAloha...a word that means both HELLO and GOOD-BYE! If you are a parent of a current 5th grader, mark your calendar for this joint venture between Kid Zone and Salt & Light! 5th graders will be saying good-bye to Kid Zone and hello to Salt & Light (Middle School Ministry). We invite all parents to attend this milestone event; we’ll have a tropical dinner, games, worship, hear from God’s Word, and bless the kids as they venture forth to more growing, connecting, serving, and reaching! Sunday VolunteersWe would love to have you be an important part of the mission of Kid Zone, while the volunteers who serve from fall-spring take a much needed break. Training, materials, cute kids, and even substitutes when needed are provided. You provide your God-given time and talent as a small group leader, behind-the-scenes helper, worship leader, baby holder, or greeter - you name your gift and we’ve got a volunteer position suited for your shape. Broadway Kids: June 17-21 & June 24-28, 9am-3pm (ages 5-12)Some of Broadways biggest hits have the smallest stars. Shows like Matilda, Annie, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown have been celebrating young actors for years, and now it’s your turn to take the stage! This summer, we’ll teach you how to sing, dance, and act just like those pint-sized Broadway stars.
Disney & Beyond: July 29-August 2, 9am-3pm (ages 5-12)Everyone loves a Disney sing-a-long, but Disney songs won’t be the only tunes you’ll be humming this summer! Sing, dance, and act your way through the best animated feature movies. With songs from Shrek, Trolls, and our classic Disney favorites, we’ll surely have a song for everyone on this summer camp playlist.

Christian Youth Theater is a non-profit theater arts education program for kids. The curriculum for summer camps includes daily dance, vocal, and acting instruction. An awesome showcase performance wraps up each week as campers show off to parents. Also included are daily devotional activities, and indoor/outdoor games.
