IMPORTANT DATES
Dear Parents/Carers,
Nyngan Public School would like to welcome Mrs Fatima Giles
to staff. Mrs Giles will be working at Nyngan PS each
Wednesday and Thursday.
Mrs Brooke Johnson has returned to Nyngan Public School
each Tuesday for the remainder of the year.
Mrs Giles and Mrs Johnson will be providing programming
time (Release from Face to Face) to classroom teachers each
week.
Congratulations to staff and students at Nyngan Public School
who commenced the school day with a magnificent array of
costumes depicting favourite book characters, super heroes and
characters with super powers. Staff are now waiting to hear if
there has been a nomination for the Logies or if an SLSO or 2
will be invited to take part in Dancing with the Stars!!
Staff and students took part in an NRL fun afternoon on
Monday. The high light of the afternoon was the opportunity
for students to meet Nathan Hindmarsh.
I would like to wish everyone a safe and restful Mid-Term
Break (Alternate Work Organisation). Classes will resume
Tuesday 27th
of August, 2019.

RUGBY LEAGUE CLINIC
On Monday our students from Years 1 – 6
attended the NRL Macquarie Sports Rugby
League Clinic. They were divided into groups
with St Joseph’s and the Small Schools. They
participated in 5 different rotations in which
they were taught many skills.
The students were excited to meet Nathan
Hindmarsh and receive a new football in
which most got Nathan to sign. Ryan even got
his new shoes signed.
After the clinic the children were treated to a sausage sizzle, piece of fruit and a popper.
We would like to thank Byron Warren for making this opportunity possible for our students.
