As you will see from the entries we received to last month’s
Monochrome themed competition, the standard of our reader’s
photography is extremely high.
Congratulations to Nick Kabzamalov for his entry of ‘The Car’ which
sees him win some fantastic prizes including the honour of gracing
this month’s cover, $50 cash and a canvas print of his cover image.
NZ Photographer will continue to showcase the best Kiwi
photography talent in each issue, but we’re also keen to hear
from you if you have any photography tips and tricks that you’d
like to share with the NZ Photographer community, including
the 13,000+ readers of this e-mag. Drop us a line if you have
something in mind.
This month’s competition is all about weather and the seasons.
It’s your chance to show off your best photos and practice your
photography skills, whether your photo captures the warmth of a
summer day, the fresh smell of spring or the bitter cold of winter,
enter our competition and you could be our next winner! Get out

PIXMA PRO-1. As dedicated as you are.
As Travel Photographer Chris McLennan knows, a huge
amount of effort goes into capturing the perfect shot.
So when it comes to printing, you need a printer that
makes all your hard work, sacrifice and risk worthwhile.
The PIXMA PRO-1 is that printer. It’s the first* A3+
printer to utilise five distinctive monochrome inks in a
12-ink system, yielding the truest prints possible. Now
from capture to output, you can maintain every nuance
and colour with the utmost accuracy and precision.
