11:45 – 1:15 p.m.Luncheon PresentationAttendees will enjoy a fabulous lunch, followed by an enlightening & enter-taining presentation of Lake Tahoe, through the eyes of McAvoy Layne, ‘Nevada’s Mark Twain’. See that man over there, the one with curly, grayish-white hair? Is that Mark Twain of Hannibal, Mo., or McAvoy Layne of Incline Village, Nev.? It’s hard to tell them apart – and that’s the point. For 24 years, Layne has transformed himself into the famous humorist as the “Ghost of Mark Twain” to deliver more than 2,000 performances to fascinated audiences in venues world-wide.Closer to home, he stars in the year-round “An Evening With Mark Twain for Adults” at the Mark Twain Cultural Center in Incline Village. The venue is a cross between a theater, a music hall and a living-history museum co-owned and curated by Layne and his wife, Rebecca.

A menu of registration options exists for the 2014 California Sign Industry Summit & CSA Annual Meeting. The Full Registration option provides the best value if planning to attend all or most of the events. But, for those attending only a couple of the events, a la carte pricing is also an option.Admission to the Vendor Showcase is FREE for anyone in the sign industry but registration is required and pre-registration is highly recommended in order to avoid lines at the entrance. Vendors eager to participate in the Vendor Showcase must complete the registration form included in the 2014 California Sign Industry Summit and CSA Annual Meeting Exhibitor and Sponsorship Information brochure. Contact CSA if you would like to receive that brochure or download it at www.calsign.org.CSA respectfully requests that every person attending the Summit, any event, or function being held during the 2014 California Sign Industry Summit & CSA Annual Meeting, fill out and return a registration form, even if it is just to attend the Vendor Showcase – One Attendee per form. Sign Industry Summit & CSA Annual Meeting Activities

Silent & Live AuctionDuring the banquet, auction items from the Silent Auction will be closed out and some of the more memorable items donated will be sold to the highest bidders in the 4th Annual Live Auction. In prior years, hunting and fishing trips have been contributed as well as golf clubs and golf outings with indus-try leaders. This is a “can’t miss” auction if you are in the sign industry!

DrawingThe evening will again close with the annual CSA $10,000 Drawing where someone is guaranteed to walk away with $10,000 in their pocket.

Special Event - Tour of Thunderbird Lodge Friday morning, for family and guests of the CSA Board of Directors and those attending the summit who are not on the Board of Directors, a docent-guided tour of Thunderbird Lodge has been arranged for you to participate in. Those attending the tour will leave from the hotel together, and explore historic Thunderbird Lake Tahoe for approximately 1½ hours (9am - 10:30am): Lake Tahoe’s magical Castle-in-the-Sky and the world famous Thunderbird Yacht. Come walk through the stone mansion and grounds to reveal the mystery and legacy of the enigmatic George Whittell, Jr.Legend will spring to life as you discover the Lighthouse Room, Old Lodge, the servant’s quarters with original kitchen, as well as the 600’ underground tunnel leading to the cavernous Boathouse. And for those of you who prefer to avoid stairs and uneven walk areas; during that portion of the tour, organized video stops and/or breathtaking gardens, are available for you to enjoy.
