Caporella’s Italian Ristorante y family and I welcome you to Caporella’s Italian Ristorante. This restaurant is a tribute to my father, Giovanni (John) Anthony Caporella, and my mother, Anne Marie Antonini Caporella, and a fulfillment of their dreams to own and operate an Italian restaurant. They would be so proud to see our entire family involved in the management and operation of Caporella’s. My family and extended family spent many hours over the years gathered around the kitchen and/or dining room tables, breaking bread together, and sharing stories, all talking and laughing at the same time. I love it when this happens at our restaurant - it’s a reminder of wonderful days gone-by and also that our customers are enjoying our food and their time together. We love sharing our Italian heritage and our food with our customers and their friends and family. Many of our authentic Italian recipes are family-recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. Our son, John, the chef, attributes his culinary skills, to my mother, who was a wonderful cook. Family members have made several trips to Italy and have brought back many recipes and ideas that have been incorporated into the menus. Throughout the restaurant, you will find family photos and mementos that have personal significance, including the photos on this menu. These photos were all taken by family members on two recent trips to Italy. The music theme on the cover of the menu is a reflection of our family’s love of music - my father played the mandolin, violin, and saxophone, our sons play the guitar and I played the clarinet and accordion and currently cantor and direct the choir at St. John’s Church in Perryopolis. We hope you have a wonderful dining experience at Caporella’s as we share a taste of Italy and our Italian heritage with you. Thank you for your patronage - we sincerely appreciate it.
