Schools are not education. They are only part of education. In reality, two curriculums operate side by side. In addition to the curriculum we receive

in school all of us receive a lifelong education through the societal curriculum

CARLOS E. CORTES

Everyday is a school day!!!

Then, is everywhere a school?

So, everybody

and everything is

a teacher !!!

LLP!! Sounds

familiar!

WE WILL DO WHAT WE DO THE BEST;

WHY GRANDPARENTS ?- Family historians and the children learn about family's customs,

values, beliefs and attitudes. - Story tellers (glue that keeps the family together and contributes to the

family identity) - Mediators who help solving problems between the grandchild and parents.- Link to the other worlds for the grandchild that he/she will never witness

personally. - Playmates of the grandchildren.- Mentors who share skills, talents, provide advice and listen to their

grandchildren. - Role models who provide grandchildren with the examples of loyalty and

hard work.- Confidante of the grandchildren for their secrets which they feel too big to

share with anyone else
