Always ensure the machine is positioned higher than the level of liquid to prevent any liquid syphoning back into the machine.

If this occurs and the machine is damaged this is not covered by warranty


Connect the power lead to a 220-240v 50-60 Hz power socket. "On/Off (11)" indicator will turn green to show power is on.

Single Use Setting 1. Keep pressing the "On Time Selector (5)" button to select the duration of time

that the unit will generate ozone.

2. Press the "On/Off Button (10)" both "Blue Indicator Lights (7) and (9)" will come on and the machine will operate for the time selected.

Continuous Use Setting 1. Keep pressing the "On Time Selector Button (Green (5))" to select the duration

of time that the unit will generate ozone. 10-120 minutes.

2. Press the "Off Time Selector Button (Red (6))" to select the duration of time that the unit will not generate ozone before it switches on again and runs as per the time selected by the "On Time Selector Button (5)". 20-180 minutes.

3. Once you have selected the above options, push the "On/Off Button (Red and Green (10)" to start the unit. The unit will work and pause in cycles as selected by the "On Time" and "Off Time"

The machine may be stopped at any time by pressing the "On/Off Button (Red and Green (10)"

**If the machine loses power it needs to be reset as above.** PRECAUTIONS

• When treating water, always place ozoniser higher than the water level. • Do not place ozoniser in wet, oily or damp areas or use at above 40C as it will

shorten the lifespan of the machine. • Handle with care do not drop. • When ozoniser is on, don’t expose eyes close to the ozone outlet or inhale

deeply. • If there is any adverse effects when using the ozoniser stop use immediately. • It is advisable to open windows after using ozone to purify any enclosed area

to avoid over concentration of ozone gas.

FUNCTIONS OF OZONE

Ozone has been widely used in advanced countries for many years to sterilise water and other utensils. Many leading manufacturers incorporate ozone technology into their electrical appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators. Ozone is the Earth’s protective layer that shields us from harmful radiation from the sun. It is a powerful natural oxidizer that kills viruses, germs and harmful bacteria.





In nature ozone is derived from oxygen. When UV light passes through air, oxygen (O2) splits apart forming two atoms (Ol). When this O1 attaches itself to another oxygen O2 atom, it forms O3 (which is ozone). Due to the unstable formation of O3, it tends to offload the extra O1 atom. When O3 (ozone) comes into contact with any bacteria, algae of organic carbon-based molecule, the extra O1 atom attaches to it and destroys the molecular structure thus neutralising it's harmful potential.

WHY IS OZONE SO SAFE?

While ozone is very powerful, it has a very short life-cycle. When contaminants such as odours, bacteria or viruses make contact with ozone, they are destroyed completely by oxidation. What is Ozone? Ozone (O3) is a completely natural, colourless gas with a distinct, fresh odour, similar to the fresh scent of the beach.

The Definition of Ozone In Nature Ozone is 2nd only to Fluorine as the most powerful oxidising agent in the world! But is the safest and most powerful oxidant commonly used by man, because of its ability to neutralize contami-nants.

Ozone is 150 times more potent and works 3,500 times faster than molecular Chlorine and is therefore far superior in destroying germs, bacteria, and viruses.

The Discovery of Ozone The odour of Ozone was first reported by Van Mauren in 1785, in the vicinity of an electrical discharge. In 1840, Christian Schonbein observed a unique odour during electrolysis and electrical sparking experiments and identified this char-acteristic odour as a previously undetermined compound.

Ozone is enriched oxygen and is nature´s own powerful purifier. It's an oxidant, which occurs naturally in the upper atmosphere and is simply 3 oxygen mole-cules. The Ozone layer is essential for life on earth and among other things it protects us against dangerous ultra violet rays. The air we breathe is made up of two joined oxygen atoms (O2). If we take three O2 molecules and combine them so that there are two units with three oxygen at-oms each, we now have ozone (O3). These ozone molecules travel through the air. When they encounter a pollutant one oxygen atom will break away and attach it-self to the pollutant thereby oxidizing it. All that´s left behind is safe, pure, breath-able oxygen necessary to life.

Ozone deodorizes by a process of oxidation, permanently converting contami-nants into water vapour and other safe compounds. Ozone is itself used up during the oxidation process. Ozone also destroys a large variety of micro-organisms by breaking down their protein structure, without damaging macro-organisms (humans, plants, animals, etc.) due to our complex protein structure.

Only very small quantities of ozone are necessary to achieve a high level of de-odorization and disinfection, making it a safe and viable alternative to chemical treatment methods. Importantly, it leaves no chemical residue as unused ozone rapidly decomposes back into oxygen.

Can ozone oxidize household micro-organisms while still remaining safe? Yes! Because plants, animals and humans are macro-organisms, meaning larger organ-isms, we are not affected like the micro-organisms by the levels of ozone pro-duced by Pure`nĆlean Ozone generators. Ozone Testing Effect of Ozone on Chicken Meat (Antibiotics Removal) Remarks This chicken meat sample was treated by bubbling with a Pure`nĆlean Ozone Generator for 30 minutes in 3 litres of tap water. The foam generated from the bubbling and the meat after bubbling were used for testing. On analysis, the result showed 2 of the below antibiotics were present on the foam sample while the chicken meat after bubbling was totally free of antibiotics. As such, we are of the opinion that the antibiotics in the chicken meat had been extracted by a Pure`nĆlean Ozone Generator. Effect of Ozone on Harmful Bacteria The tests below were performed on the 0 minute and 20 minutes samples after the addition of cultured bacteria to determine the growth rate in Untreated and Ozone treated water. Effect of Ozone on Chicken Meat (Nutrient Comparison) The analysis results showed a significant reduction in calories and fat and a slight reduction in protein after Ozone water treatment.
