Private Property RCW 27.53.060
On the private and public lands of this state it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, or any agency or institution of the state or a political subdivision thereof to knowingly remove, alter, dig into, or excavate by use of any mechanical, hydraulic, or other means, or to damage, deface, or destroy any historic or prehistoric archaeological resource or site, or remove any archaeological object from such site.

Cultural Resources - Resources of cultural importance sometimes but not always created by human(s) that have been documented by field investigations. These include archaeological sites, buildings, structures, objects and traditional cultural places (TCPs).
Known Archaeological Site – DAHP has it on file prior to proposal review
Undertaking - Any project, activity, or program that can result in changes of character or use of cultural resources, if any such cultural resources are located in the area of potential effects. The project, activity, or program, must be under the permitting jurisdiction of the City of Oak Harbor. (Ordinance 18.20.120)
