The Home page provides a starting point for performing tasks in UMHS Data Mart. The Home page is divided into sections that allow you to quickly begin a specific task, locate an object, or access technical documentation. It also includes sections that allow you to quickly access objects that you have recently viewed, created, or updated, and objects that are accessed the most often by the users assigned to the groups to which you belong.

What is the “Global Header?”
Located in the upper right‐hand corner of UMHS Data Mart, the global header provides quick access to commonly used functions and is always available from the user interface.
For example, you can use the global header to begin a new task, search the Oracle BI Presentation Catalog, access the product documentation, or view a different object, without having to return to the Home page.

What are Favorites?
The favorites functionality allows you to bookmark as favorites the catalog objects that you view regularly or want to view again at another time. After you flag objects as favorites, you can use the "Manage Favorites dialog" to organize your favorites by creating categories and rearrange your favorites into the order that you find most intuitive. You can access a list of the objects that you marked as favorites and any categories that you created by clicking Favorites in the global header.

Can I select data on a Dashboard and copy it to an external source?
Place the mouse cursor outside the view and click, before dragging the mouse across the view to highlight the data you want to copy.
Use Control+C or Copy from the Edit menu or right mouse menu to copy the text to the clipboard.

How do I export data from a Dashboard?
Click the “Export” link at the bottom of the dashboard, then select the format you want to export the data as.

What is the best method of printing reports?
Using Printable PDF or Printable HTML is the best method to print reports in UMHS Data Mart.
Select the “Page Options” drop‐down list in the upper right corner of the screen next to the question mark and select “Print”, then either Printable PDF or Printable HTML.
NOTE: This method will print all fields on the dashboard, including prompt values.

What Is the Analysis Editor?
The "Analysis editor" lets you explore and interact with information by visually presenting data in tables, graphs, pivot tables, and so on. You can include the views that you create in an analysis for display in dashboards. You access the Analysis editor when you create (or edit) an analysis.
