About Ratings

Buildings of eligible rating types can receive a Portfolio Manager score from 1 to 100, and may qualify for ENERGY STAR certification with a score of 75 or greater

To be eligible for rating, the gross floor area of the facility must be comprised of 50% or more of an eligible space type and 10% or less of the gross floor area must be comprised of an Other space type.

Requirements to get a rating

11 contiguous months of utility bills

No individual electrical meter entry can be for a period longer than 65 days

More than 50% of floor space an eligible rating type, and less than 10% “other”
