Public Meeting Notice: The Gardiner Resort Area District will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at 7:00 PM at the Gardiner Visitor Center. The public is welcome to attend. For further information go to www.gardinerresorttax.com Leadership 49 now accepting applications! Leadership 49 is an eight-month leadership development program for Park County citizens focused on developing skills and increasing knowledge about challenges and opportunities throughout the county. The program prepares leaders and equips them with the skills, knowledge, and vision to become involved citizens. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in networking opportunities and work on a group project. Applications are available at bit.ly/2HSoPIU and due by June 15th. Norma Nickerson, Director of the Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research at the Univ. of MT, along with graduate student Carter Bermingham will be in Gardiner the week of June 4th dropping off surveys to Gardiner residents. The survey is to assess resident’s views on Gardiner and values that are important to residents. They will be knocking on your door and if you aren’t there, look for the survey hanging on your front door. They will come and pick it up later that day or the next. This is an important follow-up to the same survey conducted in 2013. Comparisons will be made between the two survey dates. Ultimately, this will assist Gardiner in prioritizing what is important to people of the community. Paris Opera Ballet Gold Medalist Joins Yellowstone Ballet.
